Supported Firmwares & Modding Types

We can mod your PS4 depending on its firmware version. PS4 firmware 9.00 is currently the most stable and widely supported jailbreak, but other firmwares are also possible using the latest scene tools.

• PS4 Firmware 9.00 (Preferred) – Uses the exFAT kernel exploit + WebKit chain with GoldHEN for a stable jailbreak environment.

• Older Firmwares (5.05 / 6.72 / 7.02 / 7.55) – Use WebKit + kernel exploits with GoldHEN payloads. These are legacy firmwares but still supported.

• Newer Firmwares (9.60 / 10.00 / 10.01 / 10.50 / 10.70 / 10.71 / 11.00) – Use the PPPwn kernel exploit with GoldHEN 2.4 payloads.

• Firmware 12.02 – Recently, a new BD-JB (Blu-Ray Java exploit) has been discovered that uses a specially crafted Blu-Ray disc to run unsigned code. This method is still experimental but can work on consoles up to 12.02 that have a functioning Blu-Ray drive.

Included Software & Features

Every modded system comes pre-installed with:

• GoldHEN – The premier homebrew enabler for PS4

• Homebrew Apps – File managers, FTP server, RetroArch, and other emulators/utilities where supported

• Optional Games & Emulation Setup (Extra $50) – We do our very best to add as many PS1, PS2, PSP, retro, and PS4-compatible games as possible that will fit on your internal drive, leaving a few hundred GB of free space for your future installs.

Linux Installation (Not Included in Base Price):

• Linux installation on PS4 is a separate $120 add-on.

• This includes configuring Linux on your PS4 but requires you to supply or purchase:

  • A dedicated external HDD

  • A USB hub

  • A keyboard

  • A mouse

• Linux gives you a PC-like environment with advanced emulation and software support.

GameCube Game Support:

• GameCube support is only available through the Linux environment.

• Adding GameCube games is not included in the $120 Linux installation price — it is counted as part of the Optional Games & Emulation Setup ($50) add-on.

• If you want GameCube titles, you’ll need both the Linux installation option and the games/emulation add-on.

NAND/NOR Backup (High-Level Service):

• We do not include NAND/NOR backups for free on PS4 because it requires full disassembly, soldering to the NOR flash chip, and advanced data extraction.

• This is considered a complex, higher-end repair/labor service and is charged separately at $200+ depending on the job.

• If you want a NAND/NOR backup done, please let us know before shipping so we can schedule the work and quote you accurately.

Cleaning & Premium Services

Free External Cleaning – Every PS4 we work on receives a complimentary outside cleaning for a polished look.

Premium Deep Cleaning ($50) – Complete inside-and-out cleaning:

• Full disassembly

• Dust removal from every part

• Disk drive cleaned

• Thermal paste replaced with high-quality compound

• All components inspected for wear/damage

• System reassembled and tested

Turnaround Times

• Same-Day Service – $75

• 1–2 Day Service – $50

• Standard Turnaround – Included at no extra cost

We inspect every system upon arrival. If we find additional issues, we’ll contact you immediately to discuss repair options or proceed with your requested service.

Disclaimer: While we strive to meet all advertised turnaround times, there may be situations where we are backed up or short-staffed. If you purchase the same-day or 1–2 day service, we will do our absolute best to complete your order within the selected timeframe, but delays may occur during high-volume periods. Additionally, if you request specific games, emulation setups, a Linux installation, or a NAND/NOR backup that we do not already have prepared, it may take additional time to source or set up these files, which can also extend your turnaround time. We appreciate your understanding.

Shipping Policy

• Customer Pays Shipping to Us – Unless your total service is over $120, then shipping both ways is free.

• We Pay Return Shipping – Always included, regardless of service level.

• Free Shipping Both Ways Over $120 – If your service total exceeds $120, we’ll cover the cost to send the system to us and back to you.

• Your PS4 console

• Power cord and controller cable

• Any internal drive you want modded

• A note with your name, return address, and email (for instructions and any paid add-on links)

• A list of specific requests (games, emulators, Linux setup, NAND backup, extras)

• Games & Emulation Setup ($50) – As many games as possible to fill your HDD with space left for future additions

• Linux Installation ($120) – Turn your PS4 into a Linux-powered system (requires external HDD, USB hub, keyboard, mouse)

• GameCube Games – Only via Linux installation and counted as part of Games & Emulation Setup ($50)

• NAND/NOR Backup ($200+) – Full disassembly and soldered extraction of NAND/NOR for advanced backups

• Storage Upgrades – Larger internal drives
