At RecklessMods, we provide full, professional-grade Nintendo Wii modding services, covering all Wii models: Original RVL-001 (GameCube ports), later RVL-101 (no GC ports), and Family Edition. Every system is handled with expert care, including free external cleaning and detailed status reporting.

Supported Models & Modding Types

We support every Wii system on any firmware. We install Homebrew Channel, cIOS, and USB Loader GX, unlocking backups, homebrew, and emulation.

  • Wii RVL-001 (with GameCube ports) – Full homebrew + GameCube controller support.

  • Wii RVL-101 (no GameCube ports) – Full homebrew but no native GameCube controller ports; still supports emulation.

  • Wii Mini (RVL-201) – Limited modding; no SD slot built-in but softmod possible with hardware adapters. (AT THE MOMENT WE OD NTO MOD WII MINIS)

Firmware Compatibility:
All Wii system versions are supported. We’ll install the best exploit automatically (LetterBomb, BlueBomb, BannerBomb, etc.).

Included Software & Features

Every modded Wii comes pre-installed with:

  • Homebrew Channel – Gateway to apps and utilities

  • BootMii / Priiloader – System protection and recovery options

  • cIOS (Custom IOS) – Required for backup loading

  • USB Loader GX or WiiFlow – Load backups from USB or external HDD

  • Optional Games & Emulation Setup (Extra $50) – We do our very best to add as many Wii, GameCube (via Nintendont), and retro games as your storage allows, leaving some free space for future installs.

NAND Backup Policy:

  • Free Software-Level Backup – During normal modding we create a BootMii NAND backup for your Wii. This is included at no extra cost and we provide a secure Google Drive link so you can download and store it.

  • Hardware-Level Backup ($200+) – For bricked units or cases where a software dump isn’t possible, we offer a full hardware-level NAND backup. This involves disassembly, direct chip access, and specialized equipment. Only performed when necessary or upon request.

You will receive full directions on how to use everything properly.

Cleaning & Premium Services

Free External Cleaning – Every Wii we work on receives a complimentary outside cleaning for a polished look.

Premium Deep Cleaning ($50) – Complete inside-and-out cleaning:

  • Full disassembly

  • Dust removal from every part

  • Disk drive cleaned

  • Thermal compound replaced where applicable

  • All components inspected for wear/damage

  • System reassembled and tested

Turnaround Times

  • Same-Day Service – $75

  • 1–2 Day Service – $50

  • Standard Turnaround – Included at no extra cost

Disclaimer: While we strive to meet all advertised turnaround times, there may be situations where we are backed up or short-staffed. If you purchase the same-day or 1–2 day service, we will do our absolute best to complete your order within the selected timeframe, but delays may occur during high-volume periods. Additionally, if you request specific games or emulation packages that we do not already have prepared, or a hardware-level NAND backup, it may take additional time to complete your order. We appreciate your understanding.

Shipping Policy

  • Customer Pays Shipping to Us – Unless your total service is over $120, then shipping both ways is free.

  • We Pay Return Shipping – Always included, regardless of service level.

  • Free Shipping Both Ways Over $120 – If your service total exceeds $120, we’ll cover the cost to send the system to us and back to you.

What to Include in Your Package

Please include:

  • Your Wii console

  • Power adapter, sensor bar, and one Wii Remote to test

  • Any existing SD card or USB drive

  • A note with your name, return address, and email (for instructions and your Google Drive link)

  • A list of specific requests (games, emulators, hardware-level backup, extras)

Optional Add-Ons

  • Games & Emulation Setup ($50) – As many games as possible to fill your storage with space left for future additions

  • Hardware-Level NAND Backup ($200+) – Full disassembly and direct chip read for advanced backups or recovery

  • Storage Upgrades – Larger SD or external USB drive

  • Custom Themes, Channels, and Emulators – Personalized configuration

  • Custom Paint Jobs / Hydro Dipping / LEDs – Aesthetic upgrades

Customer Communication & Support

We’ll guide you through using your newly modded system step by step.
If your console needs additional repairs, we’ll notify you first. Payment for repairs can be discussed later, or we can proceed with the requested service only.
